Aries Full Moon energy, what it means & what you can do!

Aries Full Moon will be hitting the skies this Thursday the 17th of October (Melbourne, Australia) so let’s deep dive into some Energetics that you might be feeling as we enter the pre-shadow moon phase.

First, let’s talk about Aires and what it means for you. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac calendar, which means we’re entering a brand new cycle of Full Moons for 24-25. Aries is masculine, packs a punch of fiery energy, loves to lead (duh, it’s the first sign) and wants to be showered with appreciation. Aries are the rightful leaders of our zodiac system, they like to begin, initiate & delegate.

What does this mean for you?

This means that this week is a great opportunity for you to look at anything that you have wanted to start implementing in your life. How can you begin to lead yourself around this? Have you started taking aligned action, if not why? What are some fears you have with beginning this new chapter? What are some actionable steps you can take that are aligned with you, your life and where you’re currently at.

But wait, it’s a full moon, shouldn’t you be releasing & cleansing?

Now, if you’re wanting something a bit deeper, let’s dive into the Full Moon and what it means.

For a time I followed the full moon = releasing & it did me wonders. If you’re here - fantastic - ask yourself these reflective questions:

  • What do I need to release in order to step into being the leader?

  • What are some fears I have around moving forward on this idea?

  • What is being fully illuminated under this moon? What needs to change, pivot for it to be aligned?

  • What does my body need to feel safe to let this all go?

However, since I’ve dived deeper into my spiritual practices, I’ve learned that the Full Moon is actually here to shed a light onto the shadows that come up for you in terms of manifestations. If you’re thinking literally; the full moon is at the peak of its brightness & you can see the sky clearly. When we apply this to moon rituals, we want to think that the full moon is here to light up the darkness of the shadows you might be experiencing. (A shadow could be you thinking, “I can’t have this” when you think about your desire).

What does this actually mean?

This means that we can use the time leading up to the full moon (3 days before) to begin asking reflective questions like the ones mentioned above. This helps you to identify how you went with your intentions you set under the new moon. If anything comes up; fears, shadows, shame, doubt, joy, confidence - the full moon is going to amplify that feeling. Depending on which zodiac sign the moon is in, can really change the overall feel.

Once you’ve done all this, it’s a great practice to clear this away. Using the peak full moon energy, you can do a few things to help move, clear, cancel or cleanse your energy to make room for the intentions you set earlier in the month.

  • Writing out your fears on paper, calling upon Aries full moon and burning it in a fire proof bowl with some sage.

  • Cleansing your environment, body, mind and soul - then setting up your energetic protections.

  • Dancing to a playlist, something that’s sexy, fiery, or has lots of drums.

  • Aries is a fire element, bringing this into your rituals will support bringing in the energy of Aries & the full moon.

Happy Full Moon,

Let me know how you go in the comments below!

Monica.
